Housing search assignment — No Cure, No Pay
These terms form part of every housing search assignment submitted through Domakin. If they conflict with more general wording on this page, these housing search terms govern that assignment.
1. Scope and independent search
You instruct Domakin to research housing using your city, budget, move-in date and other requirements. A public past example is a historical client result, not a current offer or a property-specific application. Domakin does not publish active opportunities and shares one suitable property with you at a time.
Domakin may contact housing providers to research or facilitate a potential tenancy while acting on your instructions. If Domakin also acts on a provider's or landlord's instructions for the same home, Domakin will not charge you the tenant success fee for that home.
2. Success and fee
A fee becomes due only when, through Domakin's documented efforts, you enter a rental agreement or another binding occupancy agreement for housing. The fee is one month's rent plus 21% VAT, with a minimum fee of €699 incl. VAT. It is invoiced when the binding housing agreement is concluded and is payable within 14 days. 3. One property at a time
Domakin shares one suitable property at a time. You may accept or decline it, but you cannot rank a catalogue of active opportunities. A declined property may cease to be available and is not reserved unless the provider confirms that in writing. Domakin may close the assignment in writing after you decline three suitable properties in sequence; closure without success costs nothing.
4. Start, duration and ending
The assignment starts when Domakin confirms receipt of your submitted assignment and records its version and timestamp. It runs for 90 days unless extended in writing. It ends earlier when housing is secured through Domakin's efforts, when either party ends it in writing, or when Domakin closes it after three declined suitable properties. Ending without secured housing creates no fee; ending does not cancel a fee that had already become due.
5. Online withdrawal right
If you contract online as a consumer, you normally have 14 days after confirmation to withdraw without giving a reason. If you expressly ask Domakin to begin immediately, research may start during that period. Your withdrawal right may end only after the service has been fully performed and the legal conditions for your express request and acknowledgment are met. If no housing has been secured through Domakin's efforts, nothing is payable under this No Cure, No Pay model.

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data while you use our platform to find accommodations in the Netherlands. By accessing and using the Domakin website or mobile application (referred to as the "Platform"), you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We may collect various types of information from you, including but not limited to: Personal information: Your name, email address, phone number, and other contact details. Profile information: Details about your preferences, interests, and accommodation requirements. Communication information: Records of correspondence between you and Domakin. Usage information: Data about your interactions with the Platform, such as search queries, viewed listings, and user interactions. Family and income declarations: Some information about your family, their income, personal income and any other financial information that might be requested from a landlord or a side that requires it for accommodation lending purposes only.
We use the collected information for the following purposes: To facilitate your use of the Platform and provide personalized services. To match you with suitable accommodation listings based on your preferences. To improve our services, user experience, and customer support. To communicate with you about your account, listings, and related updates. To analyze usage patterns and conduct research to enhance our offerings.
We may share your information in the following circumstances: With accommodation providers: Your profile information may be shared with accommodation owners to facilitate booking and communication. With third-party service providers: We may engage trusted third parties to assist us in providing services, such as payment processing or data analytics. Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or that of others.
You can control your personal information on our accommodation platform by managing your account settings, including your contact details, marketing preferences, and saved payment methods. We give you the option to opt-out of non-essential communications and delete your account at any time, though we may retain some information for legal or security purposes. You can request a copy of your personal data that we hold, or ask us to correct any inaccurate information by contacting our support team. If you're in certain regions like the EU, you have additional rights including the right to data portability and the right to request that we erase your personal information, subject to legal requirements.
We employ industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental consent.
For ensuring safety for both sides, we may require you to fill in your details and sign a contract when finances are included. The contract can be stored and used by us for any legal actions that are required if one of the sides fails to comply with what is required by them. Domakin guarantees to provide a copy of the contract to its client and to any other side when a request has been delivered and approved.
