Moving to a new country as a student is exciting, but it often comes with one of the biggest challenges: finding a place to live. At Domakin, we’ve built a system that not only helps students secure housing but also creates flexible earning opportunities for people in cities like Groningen, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam.

Our idea is simple: if we align incentives, everyone wins. Students get support in their toughest first steps in the Netherlands, and our community of agents and listers earn money while doing meaningful work.
How You Can Earn with Domakin
We’ve designed three main ways to get involved:
1. List a Room – €200
If you have a room to list (or know someone who does), you’ll receive €200 for every successful room listing on our platform. It’s a direct way to help international students find safe and reliable housing, while also making a real difference in someone’s first experience in the Netherlands.
2. Hunt for Listings – €75 per Room Found
This is more than just “referring a friend.” We’re looking for people who are proactive — students who can spot opportunities, talk to landlords, or convince someone to list their room with us. Each successful lead earns you €75, and the more listings you bring in, the more your influence grows.
This can be just a side income, or you can treat it as the start of your own sales/real estate track. There is plenty of room for growth for those who want to turn this into something bigger.
3. Become a Remote Viewing Agent – €20 per Viewing
Can’t commit to a traditional job but want flexible work? As part of our agent fleet, you can conduct remote viewings for students who can’t attend in person. Each viewing pays €20, and you’ll be directly helping internationals feel secure about where they’ll live.
Why This Works for Students
Many international students face restrictions on work hours – especially those from outside the EU who can only work 16 hours per week. That makes typical student jobs like waiting tables or retail tricky to balance.
Domakin changes this. With us, you can:
- Earn part-time income on your own schedule.
- Contribute to solving the housing shortage in Dutch student cities.
- Grow into sales, real estate, and networking roles if you want to level up.
- Feel good knowing that every action – whether listing a room or showing one – directly helps a fellow student.
A Community-Driven Story
We started Domakin because we knew how tough it was to arrive in a new country with no place to stay. Housing isn’t just about a roof over your head – it’s about stability, focus, and feeling welcome.
By rewarding people for listing rooms, hunting for new ones, and doing viewings, we’ve created a cycle where helping others also helps you. This isn’t just another part-time job – it’s a way to be part of a community that makes life in the Netherlands easier for thousands of students.
